The phone in itself is amazing, the quality is crystal clear. It is so light weight and easy to use. The battery lasts extremely well and makes a great gift not just for the holidays. The MSRP price is $79.95 it is well worth every penny. This phone has so many features not just those key ones it is unbelievable. The fact that this thing is just a house phone amazes me. I love the fact that we can get more headsets with just the one base if you choose it is a great selling point for me who prefers to have a phone in the key parts of the house since I have little ones and I prefer not to leave them just to grab the phone.
The VTech LS6425 is one of my favorite items in the house now. It truly is like I said worth the money it is well made and a so easy to use and very comfortable to talk on! I just love it!

The Air Drummers and Headset Microphone kit is one of the nicest ones I’ve seen. There are tons circulating the web, but for quality and interaction I truly have to say this set is by far the best. I have to say my friends are jealous of this toy and I keep telling them where to get it since their wee ones are always trying to snag a stick from my son. Heck, even my little girl has been playing with the drumsticks. Even if her head is still a little to small for the headsets (she’s not old enough for the recommended age group of 4 to10)

What more can be said about VeggieTales other than it is the perfect cartoon/movie? About four years ago, I was introduced to the wonderful world of the VeggieTales by a good friend of the family and I became hooked. Once my son was born, we started watching VeggieTales more regularly and purchasing videos as they became available. After reading mixed reviews on several websites, I was hesitant about the newest DVD Saint Nicholas: A Story Of Joyful Giving. Upon watching the movie, I could see where some of those people were coming from, but at the same time… this is a children’s movie.
Instead of the kitchen sink, we find ourselves in a fictional modern-day village. Larry presents some crazy ideas and Bob brings perspective with a retelling of the life of Nicholas and how his parents modeled giving and sacrifice. I was pleased with the compassionate and gentle way it was shared. Nicholas travels the world to learn the answer to his questions ultimately lay in his own hometown. Back in the Veggie-village, Junior is moved and inspires others to discover the true joy of giving!
My son is a VeggieTales fanatic and this one “shot the stars” as he so commonly says. Highly entertaining, education and worth every minute spent watching.
Taylor Swift: The Doll Every Girl Wants… and She Sings!
The Taylor Swift line of beautiful fashion and singing dolls continues to be as popular as the girl herself! The doll brings Taylor Swift to life, and the girls who are collecting her items will really love this one! She is dressed in the outfit she wears in the music video, and it even comes with a version of her guitar! Now my granddaughter Chloe is only two and ½, but she goes absolutely gaga when she sees Taylor on TV or in her videos. She sings along and dances and I know she will be over the moon when she opens this doll for Christmas. It is the top item she is asking Santa for and I am thrilled to be able to give it to her, thanks to Jakks Pacific for allowing me to review and test this doll out for them and share my findings with you. Now if does have some small parts so if the girls are younger than 6, make sure you put the smaller things away. Chloe loves her dolls with long hair, and Taylor Swift comes with very long wavy blonde hair and she is going to spend hours brushing it! I am very careful to what I allow Chloe to follow, as the performers out there are at times questionable, but I have kept my eye on Taylor, as Chloe loves her so much and I feel really comfortable letting her be Chloe’s role model, even at two and ½! Great gift idea for Christmas and the Holidays! The doll every girl who collects them should have!

Like most parents, or grandparents, (and everyone else) who has a gamer to buy for this holiday season, I try to find the best games for the kids. Now there are a lot of games out there, and I have to say most I will not buy because of the content in them, as I am buying for kids under the age of 15. But I was fortunate enough to be able to review the following games, and they are gloriously age appropriate, and a blast to play!
Harry Potter and the Half- Blood Prince (Playstation 3)
My children are big fans of Harry Potter and they all really enjoyed playing this game. The video game is much like the movie (and if you have not seen it, that’s okay, it’s just as fun) and it has some fantastic graphics. Like all the other releases in the Harry Potter game world, the action in this one revolves around the exploration of Hogwarts and the action that results from what you uncover. The game features both a super fun single player mode as well as local multi-player modes for up to two players. During their fun adventures, players will get to be a part of wizard duels, mix and brew magical ingredients in potions class and take to the air to lead the Gryffindor Quidditch team to victory. Players may even get sidetracked by Ron’s romantic troubles as they journey towards a dramatic climax and discover the identity of the Half-Blood Prince. Fun, Fun, Fun!!
Charm Girls Club: My Fashion Show (Nintendo DS)
What a great game and I must say I was having trouble giving this one up as I too once dreamed of being a fashion designer back in the day and this was just a delight to play. The game makes you use your creative abilities in fashion-oriented challenges to attain fashion mogul status. You have to compete in over 20 design challenges and a bunch of surprise mini-games. Winning these challenges you gain Charms, and help you in your quest for fashion stardom. The game contains three difficulty levels, allowing for good replayability. Challenges unfold in order, and so must be completed before others are revealed. These challenges and the available mini-games deal with everything from memory puzzles and timed events, to resource related tasks in the fashion field. The best part is you get to customize your character’s face shape, eyes, hair and clothes. The Tween and Teen girls will really like the addition to the Charm Girls Club Series. A must have for the girl gamers who love fashion.
My Sims Agents (Wii)
This game is a single player game where players take on the role of a spec ial agent on a mission to uncover and foil the sinister plans of Morcubus, the corrupt CEO of MorcuCorp. Players search for clues and solve cases across the city and other far- away places to piece together the wicked COE’s plans. Armed with the coolest gadgets, players can track footprints, pick locks, hack into computers and do molecular forensics. The players can create their own agents, and recruit other agents from MYSIMS that they meet along their adventure. They can also create their own headquarters with items they have collected along their journey to capture the villain. This keeps them thinking, and also has them up and keeping active like only the Wii can do!!
